#2 Hi, If I’m at a friend’s house and she’s offering tea, I would expect to hear Would you like some tea? Not any. I don’t think they mean the same at all. The only context in which I can imagine using any tea would be in case I said yes, I’d like some tea and then we had a discussion like this: Friend: What kind of tea can I offer ?
