Questions regarding cancelled unclaimed payment

Hi, I actually send an overseas payment yesterday night around 7pm. However, the person told me there is no email and no money coming in to her paypal account. So I decided to cancel the payment that states ‘unclaimed’ and it says refund. Would like to ask: 1. I’ve used visa debit to send the payment, does it refund back to my card or does it refund back to paypal account? 2. How long does it take to refund back to the card/account (like when will the money shows in my card balance)? Some question unrelated to cancel payment but, 3. What is the reason that the person did not received any email or payment after I’ve sent a payment? She received an email about I cancelled the payment though. 4. Is there any way that guarantees to send the money instantly? Best will be no fee charges. >The person I sent to is in different country. >I’m actually kind of urgent as she’s helping me buy some pre-order items and is releasing on 27 March so I’m considering if I should send her again now or should wait until the money is refund.
