Dispute denied, what now?

I started a dispute on an item I ordered back in march but had not received. I sent a number of emails to the company, no response. I made sure to send an email via the address paypal had on file as well, which was different. Finally, 4 months and the paypal dispute later, I received the item…….damaged. Now there is apparently no way to do anything else. The company obviously doesn’t care, and paypal has washed their hands of it……not even giving me a chance to send them pictures of the damage. I had just asked for a refund in my dispute, but obviously that fell on deaf ears as well. Any ideas?
