Withdrawing USD from a UK PayPal account without fees?

I have a UK PayPal account. I have recently been paid for a job in USD and within my PayPal account it lists three currencies – GBP, EUR and USD. The only one with a balance is my USD one. I have a TransferWise USD bank account and would like to withdraw my USD in that currency without incurring any PayPal exchange rates or fees. It does seem that that used to be possible but now PayPal has brought in a 3% fee for USD withdrawl for customers outside the US (from Sep 2020 I think). So if I withdraw my money in GBP I am getting a lousy PayPal exchange rate (from USD) but if I withdraw in USD I get stung with a 3% fee. I guess there is no way round this but I thought I’d ask the forum? Thank you. Solved! Go to Solution.
