i have purchased a second hand item on ebay from a person in Spain for â‚¬150 inc shipping. Paypal added â‚¬30 to the amount i had to pay as tax. Is this tax applicable to a second hand item?………who gets the â‚¬30?…..does the seller have to give it to the british government?
