Recently, while selling an item listed at £395 on Shpock, a buyer interested in the item suggested that we bypass the Shpock platform for the transaction. Furthermore, the buyer proposed to arrange the courier service for the delivery of the item. Given the usual procedures and safety measures, this request has triggered a number of red flags and led us to question the legitimacy of this buyer. Here, I lay out some of the concerns to help you understand why we are wary of this deal.

There are several alarming points to consider in this situation:

1. **Bypassing the Platform**: Shpock was designed to provide a secure and trusted environment for both sellers and buyers.
