Hello, I got a call from a creditor” saying my husband owed $6K and that they were collecting on behalf of Synchrony Bank for PayPal. They knew a lot about my husband but seemed confused about some details. I asked why her phone number was coming through as a UK number identified as Naturally Ahimsa LTD. She said she was Midland Bank which I know is a UK bank. I called them and they asked for his social security number which I did not provide. Then they were pushing for my info and I hung up. I thought maybe someone had run up debt on his account but the UK number made it seem shady. Anyone else had this experience?”
