## Ghost Payments: When PayPal and My Clients Aren’t on the Same Page 👻

Hey everyone,

Let me paint you a picture: it’s a Wednesday afternoon, I’m basking in the glow of almost finished work for the week, when suddenly a message pings into my inbox. It’s from a client, and they’re telling me they’ve transferred a significant sum of money to my PayPal account.

Here’s the catch: *I haven’t received a single notification about it*. Even better, when I check my PayPal balance, the money is nowhere to be found.

My client insists this is normal, especially with such large transactions, and that PayPal doesn’t always send instant notifications. This has left me completely bewildered.

Is there any truth to this? Can a major payment actually disappear without a trace? 🧐
