### Linking a South African Bank Account – Verification still pending

I hope this blog post finds you well. Today, I wanted to share a bit of a technical challenge I’m facing and maybe, if anyone else has encountered the same issue, it could help us figure out a solution together.

I live in South Africa and I’ve been trying to transfer money from my PayPal account to my SA bank account. Initially, I created an online profile with FNB, and they successfully verified all my documents. I proceeded to link my FNB online profile to my Nedbank account. Despite receiving a notification that the linking process was successful, I still can’t transfer funds between the accounts. Every time I try, it still reads “verification pending”.

This process is supposed to be completed within 24 hours, but I’ve attempted it with two different accounts and still no success. FNB assured me that everything is in order from their end and suggested I contact PayPal. I tried calling them and even reached out on their support platform, but nothing seemed to resolve the issue. It’s quite frustrating, especially when you need the money urgently.

I am eager to find a solution in case anyone else has faced a similar problem. If anyone has any advice or has successfully navigated through this, please share your success stories or solutions in the comments section. I genuinely need to access these funds, and a bit of community support would be immensely helpful.
