Paypal took money from bank that had already been taking from balance

I had payments returned by my bank that made me go into negative balance on PayPal which I then transferred money into.paypla to cover these form another source. So all payments were cleared. Today PayPal decided to re take all the initial declined payments from my bank leaving me very overdrawn.
