Ebay selling accounts

I am getting a lot of messages from Ebay asking/telling me to set up a seller account with them in order to keep selling stopping just short of telling me I won’t be able to use Paypal to receive payments any more. Has any bodt received a clear message from them what is happening. Also I haven’t heard anything about this from Paypal about this which I find a little strange.
