refund issued by paypal, but cant find activity in refunds section

i had a problem with an automatic payment that wasn’t authorised, contacted paypal and today got the response via email ( refund issues by paypal). but the amount issued is not added to my balance yet nor I can see the refund issue in my refund activity section. should I further contact paypal again or should I just wait for the refund, if so, will it be transferred to paypal account or debit card. (paid through debit card)
