Paypal doesn’t see the payment but my Customer’s Bank does! Wix platform

A customer went through the paypal interface to make a purchase on my Wix site. They did not get a confirmation screen from Wix. They did get an email from their credit card that a charge had hit. When we called paypal, paypal did not see the charge at all. In the customer’s online credit card screen they could see the charge. After a few minutes, the credit card screen showed the charge reversed. This sounds like a paypal problem to me. Any ideas? This is making me extremely nervous as I don’t know how many people are getting this same response and just walking away from the purchase. In addition, we tried to run a card for a customer a few weeks ago and it wouldn’t go through. then we tried it a week later and still didn’t work. We are totally out that very large charge because we have never gotten the card to work and don’t want to pester our customer. ~close to saying goodbye to paypal
